YATRA PUNJAB 2027
SIKH DHARMA - KUNDALINI YOGA - KARAM KRIYA
For a long time I have been contemplating to organise a yatra, and now the time feels right. I have found the perfect partner to co-organise, Sukha Singh.
We are carefully compiling the itinerary, and it is a difficult task. So many amazing places, historical sites, experiences we want to share!
So far we have selected these places and sites, creating a mix between yogic practice, devotional immersion, historical sense, nature, sangat feeling, musical practice and excitement!
Start in Amritsar, meditate at the Golden Temple every morning and evening.
As part of the daily sadhana for the whole yatra, aside from doing yoga, we will study one specific Shabad and practice it every day.

Then Goindwal, descend into the 84-step well, reciting Japji Sahib at each step. It is said this clears karma of 8.4 million lifetimes.

Sultanpur Lodhi, walk along the river where Guru Nanak dissapeared in the river and merged with the Divine, it is the birthplace of the Mul Mantra.

Then we visit the yoga center of the world: Rishikesh. We will stay the the famous Parmarth Niketan Ashram on the banks of the Ganges. On the way there we will stop in Haridwar and on the way to Anandpur Sahib visit Dehradun at the foothills of the Himalaya.
On the way we stop one night in Chandigarh for shopping.
Anandpur Sahib, the birthplace of the Khalsa. Aside from the magnificance of this town, we will visit our highglight of the Yatra and participate in Hola Mohalla: a 3-day, vibrant Sikh spring festival celebrated at Anandpur Sahib, Punjab, immediately following Holi. Initiated by Guru Gobind Singh in 1701, it features martial arts (Gatka), horse riding, and archery, showcasing valour and bravery. It is a major event, particularly for Nihang Sikhs.
On the way back to Amritsar we visit Baba Bakala, and the history of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
